New Music: "Ashes & Embers"

Alexis Bleu is a 22 year old indie pop singer-songwriter from Michigan. In addition to being a writer and performer, she is currently working towards a B.A. in Songwriting and Music Production through Berklee College of Music. 

Alexis strives to bring a sense of joy and belonging to listeners through her music. She hopes to be an inspiration to others, whether through writing about her own struggles with mental health, or simple songs to dance to.

Her upcoming single, "Ashes & Embers", tells a story of what it's like to know exactly what you want to do in life, but not wanting to make a wrong move. Bleu sees "Ashes & Embers" not just as a grouping of words, but as metaphoric places. 

The Embers: where the light stays shining bright, guiding us toward our hopes and dreams. 

The Ashes: where the darkness overpowers; there's seemingly no way out.

The In-Between: a state of purgatory.
